The aftermath of a spell of writer's block

Your lips flutter
like red wings
of a butterfly
from word to word.

I gasp and run
in a desperate bid
to pluck the flowers
you perched on
and gather them all
into the vase of silence.

But unawares I pin down
the coordinates on the mindscape
making it yet another plot
of buds yet to bloom
and seeds still to germinate,
while you vanished…

Or is it you
divided into further fullness
breathing life into the caterpillars
clinging to the buds.

"your lips move
but I can't hear what you're saying"
- Pink Floyd (Comfortably Numb)

this seems out of context, but couldn't help but notice the contrast :D

dear nameless coward, thanks for bringing out the similarity. You have really prompted me to listen to the album. In fact i have only listed to one 2 songs by Pink Floyd : 1. Another brick in the wall 2. Empty spaces. Now that you have brought out the similarity i feel our thoughts resonate and that encourages me to listen to Pink Floyd all the more intently.

Now, my friend i do not know if you intended to point out any plagiarism. Let me make it very clear that I had no idea of what Roger Waters wrote. He saw some one's moving lips and so did I, the rest is what our experience prompted us to write. Well...lets consider this, i guess real adept plagiarists possibly would have written something like .." Your feet moves/ but i do not see where you are going"...how about that...?
Would we have the courage of conviction to nail such a one with the kind of evidence he cannot get away with?

I do not remember the name of that Hindi movie...there is a song that looks like a desi replica of 'another brick in the wall'...these starting lines " Hum ko padaayi se kya lena..."...

...and there is an altogether new phenomenon happening in the blog world...those ' i have to blog something everyday' kind of compulsive writers comfortably translating good pieces from their mother tongue print publications and post it on their blog pages. How on earth are we trying to bring out more similarities...don't you think there must be a voluntary body monitoring all this?

Any way, why don't you make yourself visible...we could discuss more!

finally rip van vinkle has woken from the slumber...

"is it you
divided into further fullness
breathing life into the caterpillars
clinging to the buds."

Concept of 'words of wisdom flowing from an enlightened mind to a willing listener brought out in its fullness'...

all ears... hawk of a pilgrim kind...

Stumbled upon this...great to read you again!

Loved these lines:

But unawares I pin down
the coordinates on the mindscape
making it yet another plot
of buds yet to bloom
and seeds still to germinate,
while you vanished…

Or is it you
divided into further fullness
breathing life into the caterpillars
clinging to the buds.

I have always found metamorphosis a bit of an engima...it makes me jealous and humbled at the same time!

What were you smoking when you wrote this?
More importantly, do you still have some of it lying around?
